The food was exceptional; the chef and his team really went above and beyond. I don’t usually eat three times a day, but I couldn’t help myself with the delicious food at Santani. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive.

[+] We absolutely loved our stay! The hotel exceeded our expectations, appearing even better in person than in the pictures on booking.com. The three daily meals were phenomenal, prepared to a very high standard by professional and friendly chefs. Special thanks to Viraj and Vipula at the restaurants, who made us feel exceptionally welcome.
We stayed in both the garden view and mountain view rooms and enjoyed both. The garden view room featured an outdoor washroom and shower, which was a unique and wonderful experience. Additionally, the river walk was excellent for cardio. Our guide was very knowledgeable, but be sure to bring long pants as there are lots of worms along the path.
While we were on a budget and did not try the spa services, we did enjoy the sauna and steam room for 30 minutes. It was incredibly relaxing and we regretted not trying the spa treatments.
[-] A downside to the garden view room was the noise. We could hear our neighbors talking, and the rain combined with monkeys jumping on the roof made for a loud night. The hotel provided earbuds, but they weren’t effective for me as a light sleeper. We switched to a mountain view room on the second day, which was much quieter and provided a better night’s sleep. If you are sensitive to noise, I recommend opting for the mountain view room.

You will find incredible peace here and enjoy an outstanding culinary journey with their remarkable cuisine concept. Daily guided hikes are included, allowing you to fully appreciate the natural surroundings. The infinity pool offers breathtaking mountain views, and you also have complimentary access to the jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. This place is truly magical and well worth the price.

[+] The property is exactly as described, with beautiful decoration and thoughtful design throughout. The food is wonderful, and the service from the staff is excellent. My best friend and I enjoyed a massage in a stunning area of the property overlooking the mountains, which was a truly special experience.
[-] As a spa hotel, there is an expectation that all guests will have ample opportunity to receive spa treatments. However, upon arrival, we were informed that only 2 out of the 4 of us could have a massage. This was disappointing given the effort we made to get there and how the hotel is marketed on Booking.com. Considering the cost of the property compared to other spa hotels, there should be enough staff to accommodate all guests for treatments. If staffing is limited, we should have been informed in advance to book treatments weeks ahead. Additionally, the journey to the hotel takes longer than expected due to very windy, narrow, and bumpy roads, so plan accordingly.

We appreciated the included amenities like yoga sessions and nature walks. The food was phenomenal, both in flavor and presentation. Every staff member was exceptional. Despite having stayed in numerous 5-star properties, this one stands out as a favorite.
