Fantastic Getaway in the Heart of Nature

Aristi Mountain Resort exceeded all my expectations. Nestled at the highest point of Aristi village, the views over Vikos Gorge and the Towers of Papigo are absolutely breathtaking. The traditional stone buildings add a rustic charm, while the modern amenities ensure a comfortable stay.

The spa facilities are top-notch with an indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam bath, providing a perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. The room was cozy, equipped with smart TV, internet connection, and a comfortable desk for any work you might need to catch up on. The complimentary bathrobes, slippers, and toiletries were a nice touch.

Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a variety of traditional Greek dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. The Salvia Restaurant also did not disappoint, offering delicious local delicacies for dinner. The bar, with its central fireplace and panoramic mountain views, was the perfect spot for a relaxing evening drink.

The staff were incredibly helpful, providing great recommendations for hikes and other activities in the area. A small tip: it would be beneficial if guests were informed about the environmental tax at check-in to avoid any surprises.

Despite a few minor issues like slightly firm pillows and a cooler pool temperature, the overall experience was superb. The attention to detail in the landscaping and building maintenance was evident and greatly appreciated. This resort is a true gem for anyone looking to escape into nature while enjoying high-standard comfort and service.

Highly recommended for a peaceful and rejuvenating retreat!

    1. Menaj

[+] The meticulous attention to detail, stunning landscaping, and pristine, well-maintained building beautifully reflect its historical roots. The property offers a fantastic view and is conveniently close to the quaint village center. It provides a peaceful atmosphere, complemented by a wonderful spa with a sauna and steam room. Everything is well-supplied. Breakfast was delicious with a vast selection of traditional dishes.

[-] The only minor drawbacks were the somewhat firm pillows and a bit of mold on the bathroom ceiling.

    2. David

[+] This property offers exceptional service and comfort, truly living up to its high standards. The price is well worth it, as you receive outstanding value in return. The stunning views across the valley make for a perfectly enjoyable stay.

    4. Anastasia

[+] This hotel is lovely and cozy, nestled in the mountains. Everything was perfect: the room, breakfast, always having hot water, a smart TV with Netflix, and incredible views. Aristi village, and especially Aristi Resort, offers a very comfortable stay if you have a car and want to explore the area. The spa is also nice.

[-] There are a few minor improvements that could enhance the experience: it would be nice to have warmer temperatures for the jacuzzi (35.5°C) and the swimming pool (not sure of the exact temperature, but it was a bit cold). Additionally, it would be helpful to inform guests at check-in about Greece’s environmental tax, which must be paid at check-out. We were surprised by a €21 charge for our 3-night stay. 😮
