Review:
Positives:
Staying at Coombe Farm in Lynton was an absolute delight! The location is idyllic, nestled in the peaceful countryside yet conveniently close to walking paths and landmarks such as Dunkery Beacon. My room was immaculately clean with comfortable bedding and ample storage space. The host, Susan, was incredibly warm and helpful, even lending me a map for my hiking trips. Breakfast was delicious and varied, with options ranging from continental to a hearty full English/Irish breakfast, and the homemade bread was a lovely touch. The quietness of the area made it perfect for a restful night’s sleep, and the starlit skies were spectacular. The value for money is excellent, especially considering the included breakfast.
Negatives:
While my stay was largely positive, there were a couple of minor inconveniences. The WiFi signal was a bit weak, which is understandable given the remote location. Additionally, the shower could have done with slightly more pressure, but it wasn’t a major issue. Lastly, for those staying in the single room, it should be noted that the private shower and toilet are located across the landing, which might be less convenient for some guests.
Overall, Coombe Farm is a charming and peaceful retreat with friendly hosts and excellent service. Perfect for nature lovers and those seeking a quiet getaway.

[+] The single room was immaculate and featured comfortable bedding. There was ample storage for clothes if required. The host was welcoming and assisted with setting up the TV in the room.
[-] There was nothing to dislike. While the double rooms had en suite bathrooms, which I did not see, the single room had a private toilet and a private shower room located across the landing.
