Accommodation
The air-conditioned rooms are very comfortable, featuring a closet, an electric tea pot, a fridge, a minibar, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV, a balcony, and a private bathroom with a shower. Selected rooms even come with a kitchenette, which is a great option for extended stays. My stay in a swim-up room was particularly delightful, offering easy access to the pool and a unique experience.
Facilities
The resort boasts an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, garden, and even a water park. The pools are well-maintained and the perfect spot to unwind. The on-site Thai restaurant serves delicious food, and the buffet breakfast is a treat. The floating breakfast was an indulgent experience. The 24-hour front desk, concierge service, and free WiFi further enhance the convenience and comfort of your stay.
Service
The staff at Island Escape Burasari are exceptional, always friendly, professional, and ready to assist with any needs. Room service is prompt and reasonably priced. A minor issue with room cleaning was quickly addressed by the attentive staff. The resort also offers a free boat and golf cart service to compensate for its relatively remote location, making travel to Phuket main city manageable.
Activities
While the resort offers a peaceful environment perfect for relaxation, some guests noted that there weren’t many activities available on the island itself. However, the water taxi service to the mainland provides opportunities for more vibrant experiences. The water park and playground are great for families, and the spa offers a relaxing escape.
Minor Issues
Despite the overall positive experience, there were a few minor issues. A stench from the shower pipes and a damp feeling in the room were noted, but these did not significantly detract from the overall comfort. The pool bar’s operating hours were a bit unclear, and we had minor difficulties finding our room in the evening, but the staff were always on hand to help.

[-] My phone stopped working after the first night, but I accidentally left the “Do Not Disturb” light on, so it couldn’t be fixed.
The waiting room at the boat lagoon pier would be even better if it were upgraded to a more comfortable and relaxing setting.

[+] The resort is fantastic. The Thai restaurant offers exceptional cuisine, and the breakfast is delicious. The atmosphere is very laid-back and relaxing. The pool is clean, and the rooms are lovely. We stayed in a swim-up room, which was definitely worth it. We opted for the all-inclusive package, and the cocktails were fresh and tasty, unlike many other all-inclusive resorts. Our stay was incredibly relaxing. The swim-up rooms were more enjoyable than the private pools, which seemed too small for swimming. Room service was prompt and reasonably priced. The staff were professional and kind.
[-] We accidentally left our sunglasses on a table at the restaurant, and when we returned to retrieve them, they were gone—not what I would expect from a high-end resort. Additionally, the pool bar had unusual operating hours that were hard to understand, as it seemed to close precisely when you wanted a drink.

Our deluxe room was fantastic, featuring a king-size bed with nice bedding, and a fan. The air-conditioning worked perfectly. We also enjoyed having a patio with a fan—great accommodations overall.
[-] One minor issue was finding our room in the evening. Although there are signs indicating room locations, we had a bit of trouble locating ours. It could be a bit clearer, but this was entirely our choice as the staff were always available to assist us in finding our room.

[-] The room consistently felt humid and damp. There isn’t much to do on the property itself, but there is a water taxi available to take you to the mainland for additional activities.

The facilities, particularly the pools, were fantastic and the overall tranquility of the place was invaluable. It genuinely felt like an island escape, and I would definitely return!
[-] The only downside was the resort’s distance from Phuket’s main city, which made travel a bit inconvenient. However, the resort did a great job of mitigating this with their complimentary golf cart and boat services. Unfortunately, the shower had an unpleasant odor coming from the pipes.
