Serenity Authentic Glamping Tulum, Xpu Ha – A True Nature Escape

    Atmosphere and Ambiance

From the moment I arrived, the soothing atmosphere of Serenity Authentic Glamping Tulum was palpable. Nestled in the native jungle, the surroundings were lush and beautifully maintained. Walking through the grounds, I felt a sense of tranquility that is often hard to find. The occasional sight of the property piggy added a charming touch to the experience. The glamping tents are not just tents; they are luxurious retreats. Our tent was spacious, with a comfortable king-sized bed, a colonial-style desk, and a large mirror.

    Comfort and Amenities

The accommodations were beyond my expectations. The tent was meticulously clean, and the private bathroom with a separate shower was a welcome luxury. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable, promptly providing extra pillows when requested. The year-round outdoor pool and garden added to the serene experience, making it a perfect retreat for relaxation.

    The Beach Experience

Xpu-Ha beach is just a short 3-5 minute walk from the property, offering pristine white sand and crystal blue waters. The beach club was a great place to unwind, with lounge chairs and even massages available. While some reviews mentioned walking to the beach being a bit far, I found it to be a pleasant stroll through beautiful surroundings.

    Dining

The on-site restaurant, Mystique, had its ups and downs. While the breakfast was delightful, the lunch and dinner options could use some improvement. However, the beach club’s restaurant provided a much better dining experience, especially given the spectacular beach view. If you are a foodie, you might want to explore other dining options in the nearby Playa del Carmen.

    Noise Levels

One downside was the noise at night. Despite being in a jungle setting, the proximity to the highway and neighboring resorts meant that traffic and music could be heard. Earplugs are provided, but light sleepers might find this an issue. The tents are quite close together, which can also add to the noise levels.

    Overall Experience

Despite a few minor setbacks, my time at Serenity Authentic Glamping Tulum was overwhelmingly positive. It is a wonderful place to reconnect with nature while enjoying the comforts of a well-appointed retreat. The staff’s friendliness and the stunning beach nearby make it a destination worth visiting. I would definitely return, perhaps with a few more dining plans and noise-canceling headphones in my bag.
